CROWNWeb Subcontract

Bellese was awarded a sub-contract on the Consolidated Renal Operations in a Web-Based Network (CROWN) Program at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). The CROWN contract supports a suite of systems which support the End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) program for the Center for Clinical Standards and Quality (CCSQ) at CMS. The CROWN team performs full life cycle system development activities for the CROWNWeb, REMIS and SIMS central repository. The CROWN team partners with CCSQ to plan and prioritize development efforts and ensures that the CROWN systems meet all required standards for architecture, security, and system access.

PMBR Subcontract

Bellese was awarded a sub-contract on the Project Management / Business Requirements (PMBR) Program at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). The PMBR contract provides Project and Program Management, development of business requirements, and governance for all system development supporting programs within the Center for Clinical Standards and Quality (CCSQ) at the Centers for Medicaid and Medicare. PMBR partners with the Information Systems Group (ISG) within CCSQ and their contractors to determine the most efficient and effective plans for system implementation to support programs within CCSQ.

ESRD QIP – First Quality Related Initiative (QRI) Subcontract

Bellese was awarded a sub-contract on the End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) Quality Incentive Program (QIP) at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). CMS administers the ESRD-QIP to promote high-quality services in outpatient dialysis facilities treating patients with ESRD. Bellese Technologies provides technical leadership, agile project management, and agile software engineering services on the ESRD-QIP contract.

April 2016

EQRS – Quality Related Initiative (QRI) Subcontract

Bellese was awarded a sub-contract on the EQRS program at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). EQRS supports the quality reporting programs conducted by CCSQ via the collection of ESRD-related data used in the calculation of quality measures and performance scores. These measures and scores are used to evaluate the performance of ESRD providers and to promote improvements through payment adjustments based on performance. In the EQRS contract, CCSQ requires a system that drives data quality through the accurate implementation of business and validation rules.

GSA IT Schedule Award

Bellese was awarded a GSA Multiple Award Schedule Contract vehicle (Contract Number: GS-35F-356DA). The GSA award is an IDIQ contract providing a full range of IT services, including Agile Program and Project Management, Agile Software Engineering, DevOps (infrastructure as code), and AWS Cloud Engineering services for all federal departments and agencies.

ADELE-QRI BPA Award

Bellese was awarded the CMS Agile Delivery to Execute Legislative Endeavors for Quality Related Initiatives (ADELE-QRI) Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA). The ADELE-QRI BPA provides a commercial, streamlined process to support CMS Quality Related Initiatives with the need for agile delivery services, including IT management and governance, business process analysis, user centric design and user experience (UX) design thinking, agile solution architecture and design, agile application development and configuration, integration and DevOps.

ADELE-QRI BPA Task Order Award – Hospital Quality Reporting

Bellese was awarded the Hospital Quality Reporting (HQR) task order under the CMS Agile Delivery to Execute Legislative Endeavors for Quality Related Initiatives (ADELE-QRI) Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA). The HQR suite of applications and reports has been implemented in support of federally mandated programs that govern the quality of care provided in multiple hospital settings.

August 2017

ADELE-QRI BPA Task Order Award – Physician Quality Reporting System

The PQRS suite of applications and reports was implemented in support of federally mandated program that govern the quality of care provided by physicians and physician groups. The PQRS program is in its last year of operation and is being replaced by the Quality Payment Program (QPP). We will be working with CMS to complete the last year of PQRS operation and to decommission the PQRS applications. We look forward to working with CMS Center for Clinical Standards and Quality on this effort.

ADELE-QRI BPA Task Order Award – Medicare Cost Estimator

We are pleased to announce that Bellese Technologies has been awarded the Medicare Cost Estimator (MCE) task order under the ADELE-QRI BPA. The goal of the MCE is to help Medicare beneficiaries understand cost information and use the information when choosing a healthcare provider. In 2018, the MCE MVP will help beneficiaries compare Medicare payments and copays for certain procedures (Procedure Codes) in hospital outpatient departments and ambulatory surgery centers.

We are excited to partner with the CMS Office of Communications to provide an improved user experience with public-facing services for Medicare beneficiaries. Bellese will use a human centered design approach fronted with extensive user research to drive development of the user experience for MCE. Our solution will be built using agile and lean engineering techniques including implementation of DevOps, Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment, and utilization of open source components and the AWS cloud.
