Karen Waters

Starting in at a Quality Improvement Organization (QIO) IT department, Karen has worked in the HealthIT industry for almost her entire career. She has held a number of positions including developer, technical project manager/business analyst, and program manager. She is passionate about driving improvement and can regularly be seen in the trenches helping to solve problems.

The desire to provide efficient, streamlined systems that drive improvements in healthcare is what inspires Karen to keep moving forward. In 2020, Karen’s family was positively impacted by a hospital quality improvement measure further driving her to improve our healthcare journey.

When not at work, you can find Karen at the beach or fishing with her husband on the Choptank River.
