This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit a Bellese Technologies, LLC ("Bellese") website, including but not limited to: https://bellese.io, or any site or internet-enabled service hosted at a bellese.io domain (the “Sites”).
Personal Information We Collect
When you visit the Sites, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Sites, we collect information about the individual web pages that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Sites, and information about how you interact with the Sites. We refer to this automatically-collected information as "Device Information."
We collect Device Information using the following technologies:
- "Cookies" are data files that are placed on your device or computer and often include an anonymous unique identifier. For more information about cookies, and how to disable cookies, visit www.allaboutcookies.org.
- "Log files" track actions occurring on the Sites, and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, date/time stamps, but most importantly any errors that you encounter while using the Sites.
- "Web beacons", "tags", and "pixels" are electronic files used to record information about how you browse the Sites.
- "Local Storage" is a method of storing data in your browser. While we use local storage to save preferences that you set on the Sites, we do not save this information elsewhere. This data is saved exclusively to customize and enhance your experience while using the Sites.
- "Web Forms" are used to allow you to provide specific information to us directly; including but not limited to: contact forms, newsletter subscriptions, and employment applications. This data is used to accomplish a specific task associated with your completion of the form. The type of information collected will vary depending on what the form is for. For example, employment applications will require much more information than subscribing to our newsletter.
When we talk about "Personal Information" in this Privacy Policy, we are also talking about Device Information.
How Do We Use Your Personal Information?
We use the Personal Information that we collect generally to fulfill any requests placed through the Sites (including but not limted to contact requests, newsletter subscriptions, and employment applications). Additionally, we use this Order Information to:
- Communicate with you;
- Screen traffic for potential spam or threats; and
- When in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.
We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Sites (for example, by generating analytics about how our users browse and interact with the Sites, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).
Sharing of Your Personal Information
We share your Personal Information with third parties to help us with actions and analysis as described above. For example, we use Google Analytics to help us understand how people use the Sites — you can read more about how Google uses your Personal Information here: https://www.google.com/intl/en/policies/privacy/. You can also opt-out of all sites using Google Analytics here: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
For more information on opting out of services we use. See the Opt-Out of Analytics & Do Not Track section of this policy.
We share Device Information with the following services to help us measure the effectiveness of marketing efforts and advertising:
- LinkedIn [Advertising Effectiveness (Conversion Tracker), Marketing Campaign Effectiveness (Conversion Tracker), Audience Analytics]
- Google [Usage Analytics (Google Analytics), Threat and Spam Suppression (reCAPTCHA)]
- Twitter [Marketing Campaign Effectiveness Only (Conversion Tracker)]
- Facebook [Marketing Campaign Effectiveness Only (Conversion Tracker)]
We DO NOT share any data collected using a web form with the aforementioned services.
Use of reCAPTCHA
We use a common spam and threat suppression service on the Sites known as reCAPTCHA. This service is maintained by Google and the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply.
Applications for Employment
We use a 3rd party service called Lever for recruiting and employment applications. By applying for employment at Bellese your Personal Information will be entered into or shared with Lever to manage the hiring process. For more information on how Lever may use your Personal Information, refer to their Privacy Policy.
Additionally, if you apply for employment at Bellese through any channel, on or off of the Sites (including 3rd party job boards or classified ads), any information you submit may be shared with our recruiting partner Right Resources.
Legal Compliance
Finally, we may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.
Bellese DOES NOT sell your personal information to ANYONE.
Opt-Out of Analytics & Do Not Track
While many sites do not respect the Do Not Track setting, we are pleased to say that we do. Your browser likely has a "Do Not Track" setting, and this preference is passed along to a website whenever you visit. It is up to the website to honor it.
We believe it is important to respect your preferences, so we honor it. There will be no analytics services enabled or device information collected when we see a Do Not Track signal from your browser.
In addition, if you only want to opt out of analytics from the Sites, you may manually opt out by updating your settings on the Privacy Controls page. Enabling this setting uses local storage to save your preference. We will not know if you choose to enable this setting. If you do opt out manually, you will need to opt out on each Site and each device you use to visit the site individually.
Additionally, you can opt out of some of these 3rd-party services we use by visiting the Digital Advertising Alliance's opt-out portal at: http://optout.aboutads.info/.
Data Retention
When you complete a web form on the Sites, we will maintain your Personal Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information. Keep in mind, this information may be saved in 3rd-party services that we use for business operations.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.
